Q:  What is Soft Washing?
A: When Pressure washers/Power washers were developed in the last century they were high pressure and designed to BLAST dirt and grime off of a variety of surfaces. This led to surfaces being damaged or destroyed from the high pressure. Since then some things have changed for the better. Although high pressure machines are still around & very useful when used properly by skilled operators, a variety of specialized accessories and techniques have been developed to create what we are now calling Soft Washing or Soft Wash. The process consists of applying a cleaning solution, letting the solution do its job and then rinsing away the unwanted material while using only LOW PRESSURE to insure the safe cleaning of your property.
Q:  Why Don't You List Prices on Your Web Site??
A: Simple, every home is different. Different sizes, shapes, siding material, location (beach front, in the woods, next to busy road, etc.). The only way to be fair to everyone is to actually come out and measure each house and evaluate the work which needs to be done.

Q:  What is the dark staining on my siding?
A: Most likely its mold, mildew or algae. All of these like to grow in shady areas with high humidity. In these conditions they will grow on just about everything such as concrete, vinyl siding, stucko, stone, bricks, wood, treated wood, vinyl fencing, just to name a few..
Q: Isn’t mold a health problem?
A: Yes, Mold and mildew around your home create unhealthy conditions for those with allergies and asthma. Our Soft Washing methods of Cleaning will remove mold, mildew, algae and other environmental contaminants from your home safely.

Note: If you have children that play on driveways or walks with mildew growing on them, you should have those areas Soft Washed. Do you want your kids touching their faces after playing on moldy surfaces?
Q: There are small very dark raised spots on my siding in places. What is this?
A: Most likely they are Artillery Fungus spores if the areas are near or above mulch. This fungus lives in rotting hardwood mulch and shoots its spores in the air (hence the names Artillery or Shotgun Fungus) and these spores land on your siding.
Q:  Are all Power Washing companies alike?
A: NO! Anyone can purchase a pressure washer. Simply owning a pressure washer & advertising a service doesn't mean you can operate it effectively. A pressure washer in the hands of an unskilled operator will do a great deal of harm, this is why Soft Washing was created. Commercial power washing/Soft Washing equipment and accessories are specialized, expensive, high quality tools. If someone is offering "the lowest price" they need to be cutting corners someplace, whether its with equipment, insurance or quality of services.
